Sophia's 2nd birthday party, cousins, church petting zoo, and so much more!!!

Well, we had Sophia's big 2nd birthday bash at Monkey Joe's on Saturday...very hard to get good pics but we did get a few! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us! It was a very busy day but lots of fun!

After the party we stopped by Nay Nay's house to let Sophia play with her cousins. She loves baby Ava! Here she is saying "baby...mine"
We haven't seen cousin Samarah in months, but they became fast friends, holding hands and then playing outside...a first tennis lesson for them both!

Our church had a fall festival and we took Sophia up to the petting zoo. She had a blast with the chicken, rabbit, horse, pig, and sheep!

After a busy day it was time for presents! This year she is a present opening pro! Barely needed daddy's help at all!

Last but not least, Monday we had her ballet class and it was Halloween party day! So, Sophia got to go to ballet as a giraffe...I didn't get a whole lot of good pictures, but this one was cute. She is still not so keen on going into ballet class alone...she likes to know mommy and daddy are in the room, but she still had a good time!

Playdate Tuesday

Sophia got to get together with her friends again on Tuesday...unfortunately, didn't get much for pictures! She had a good time though...she loves the babies and was a good "babysitter" for baby Ava!
Then, Sophia and Bennett decided to get into some good old fashion mischief and threw dirt out of the potted plants...I guess after that you could say it was time to go home!
All i all a good day for all! I will try to get better pictures next time! More to come over the weekend...he big 2 year old birthday bash is in the morning!

Pumpkin Patch Part 2

Pumpkin Patch

On Friday we took a trip to the pumpkin patch. First we went on a hayride to the patch and Sophia had lots of fun seeing the "pumpeys" and the cotton plants. Then we rode the hayride back and Sophia got to see a baby cow, sheep, goats, pigs and chickens! Then she had fun trying to drive the tractor.

Practice Birthday Cake

Sophia's favorite thing to watch right now is The Backyardigans. Her favorite character is Pablo and so I had decided to make a Pablo cake for her party this coming Saturday. It seemed kind of complicated and so I decided to do a practice cake on Thursday. Well, Sophia thought this was great fun and spend most of the 3 hours is took licking icing! Needless to say she was on quite the sugar high! But, all things that go up most come down as she did, falling asleep on the floor! The cake turned out cute though...hoping it goes a little faster this week...and I'm going to keep her away from the icing somehow!

1st Haircut

Well, our little girl is almost 2! We can hardly believe it! We decided it was time for the first haircut and took her last friday to a really cute kids haircut place. At first she wasn't too sure and was reaching for mommy, but then she was perfectly still and acted like a real pro! The haircut turned out really cute too...oh and she loved her lollipop!
