2nd Birthday, Halloween, and yet another pediatrician visit!

Waking up now 2 YEARS OLD!!!! We had a playdate we some good friends to celebrate Halloween and Soph's birthday!

Then we celebrated with Daddy at home! Now she's a pro at blowing out candles!

The next day was Halloween and we went trick or treating with some of Sophia's buddies: Ryan, Landon, Bennett, and baby Alexander! Here are some random pics...I didn't get much of the other kiddos!

We got home to a 104.1 degree fever so...

Back to the pediatrician...we have been there WAY too much lately!

Rough week for Miss Sophia!

Ok, so I know I've been a slack blogger! Sorry! We've had a rough week with Sophia being very sick! She just can't seem to get rid of her cold and then has a sinus infection to boot! First though

Happy 2nd Birthday to my beautiful girl!
Sophia turned 2 on Tuesday 10/30 and we can hardly believe it! She had a great day despite being a little under the weather! We had a playdate with her buddies and she even got her own special birthday cake! (Thanks again Apryl!) And then dinner with mommy and daddy and presents!

Then on Halloween we did trick or treat with her same little group of buddies which was also great fun! Unfortunately that night she ran a 104 degree fever so it was off to the pediatrician on Thursday (where we got the sinus infection diagnosis) and back to being on antibiotics! So she is feeling mostly better now so Mommy got to go back to work tonight! (yippee) In any case I have lots of pics to add and will try to do it tomorrow night!

Sophia's 2nd birthday party, cousins, church petting zoo, and so much more!!!

Well, we had Sophia's big 2nd birthday bash at Monkey Joe's on Saturday...very hard to get good pics but we did get a few! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us! It was a very busy day but lots of fun!

After the party we stopped by Nay Nay's house to let Sophia play with her cousins. She loves baby Ava! Here she is saying "baby...mine"
We haven't seen cousin Samarah in months, but they became fast friends, holding hands and then playing outside...a first tennis lesson for them both!

Our church had a fall festival and we took Sophia up to the petting zoo. She had a blast with the chicken, rabbit, horse, pig, and sheep!

After a busy day it was time for presents! This year she is a present opening pro! Barely needed daddy's help at all!

Last but not least, Monday we had her ballet class and it was Halloween party day! So, Sophia got to go to ballet as a giraffe...I didn't get a whole lot of good pictures, but this one was cute. She is still not so keen on going into ballet class alone...she likes to know mommy and daddy are in the room, but she still had a good time!

Playdate Tuesday

Sophia got to get together with her friends again on Tuesday...unfortunately, didn't get much for pictures! She had a good time though...she loves the babies and was a good "babysitter" for baby Ava!
Then, Sophia and Bennett decided to get into some good old fashion mischief and threw dirt out of the potted plants...I guess after that you could say it was time to go home!
All i all a good day for all! I will try to get better pictures next time! More to come over the weekend...he big 2 year old birthday bash is in the morning!
